This match was played at the Mataura Bridge on Friday. The proHnd was well j contested although the fielding on both i sides wa9 a little h»\ A pleasant day's sport was brought to a close by the I Mataura team entertaining their Wyndham friends to supper provided in host Cameron's very beat style. Ample justice ; having been done to the provision made for < the occasion — snd which by the wajr it j would have taken a pretty pood umpire to decide which did best~an adjournment was made to tbe ball-room where dancing was kept up with great spirit till well on for daylight.
