Our dates are to the 27th ultimo;— The Church of England Synod have practically decided to remit the election of the Bishop to the Bishops of Australia and Tasmania. A majority of the clergy were in favor of proceeding to election. A majority of the laymen favored delegation to the Archbishop of Canterbury.
