Calcavecchia to be fined
NZPA-AAP Sydney The British Open golf champion, Mark Calcavecchia, will be fined at least sAustlooo for withdrawing from this week’s sAustl million Johnnie Walker Classic at Royal Melbourne, the P.G.A. tour operations manager, Graeme Nightingale, said yesterday. Calcavecchia told tournament organisers on Monday morning that he intended to return home to the United
States — less than three days before the start of the Classic.
