Corgi bequest
Mr William Ambler, aged 43, is contesting the will of his mother, who left her entire estate, of about $86,495, to the Queen’s pet Corgi dogs. Mr Ambler’s mother, who died last March, aged 86, left everything to Mr Ambler in one will, but the next day changed it. Buckingham Palace, noting that there was no charity for the Queen’s dogs, said: “The bequest is a delicate matter.”— NZPA-KRD
