Softball rescheduled

The Charity Cup men’s softball double-header between the 1988-89 Lion Red Series national club champion, PonekeKilbirnie, and the division II tournament winner, WoolstonCardinals, has been rescheduled for Sunday. Originally the Charity Cup contest was to be played the Sunday-before-last but the closure of Wellington Airport kept Poneke-Kilbirnie in the North Island. The double-header at Cuthberts Green will be preceded by a top-of-the-table premier men’s softball clash between United and Richmond.
