Apartment block plan

By

RICHARD CRESSWELL

This $5 million apartment de-

velopment is planned for a 1.4 hectare site on the corner of Deans Avenue and Brockworth Place, Riccarton. Construction is expected to start in February. The manager for Challenge Realty, Church Corner, Mr Jeremy Harding, said “Mansfield on Hagley” would have 44 apartments ranging in price from

$280,000 to $305,000. The three-storey apartment complex, on the site previously occupied by Zenith’s Nurseries, will include garages on the bot-

tom floor and a swimming pool and barbecue area. They will be serviced by lifts. The developer, who declined to be named, said he expected the project to sell well. “It is priced right and there is plenty of land with the development” It had been restricted to three storeys to ensure it fitted in with the area.
