CHARGE NURSE, MORNING DUTIES This is a temporary appointment for 6 months, the position involves morning duties, Monday to Friday, and the appointee will organise, coordinate and continue the nursing service of the unit on that duty. Ability is required to apply modern concepts of psychiatric nursing to undertake group and individual work, to manage and assist with education of other staff. Applicants will be RPsych or RCpN with at least one year of recent post-basic psychiatric experience in an acute area. A post-basic nursing qualification will be taken into consideration. STAFF NURSE, AFTERNOON DUTIES Involved in care of the acutely ill psychiatric patient, mulldisciplinary team approach. The appointee will be required to apply modern concepts of psychiatric nursing.
