The course will commence on February 5,1990. A total of 16 student places are available. The course fee will be announced at a later date. Students will receive instruction in theory and a wide range of forestry skills. Students may be eligible to apply for Student Allowances. These amounts vary and may be dependent on parental income. The special focus of this programme will be on training and skills directed towards employment within production forestry, recreation, as well as other career opportunities in forest based industries. FULL-TIME 36 WEEK COURSE IN HORTICULTURE Applications are invited for places in a full-time course in horticulture to be conducted at the Salisbury Primary Industries Centre, Salisbury Road, Richmond. The course will commence on February 5,1990. A total 1 of 16 student places are available for this programme. Students will receive instruction in theory and a wide range of horticultural skills. Students are eligible to apply for a Tertiary Assistance Grant. The special focus of this programme will be on training and skills suited to Nelson Horticulture Industry with Fruit Production focusing on pipfruit and kiwifruit. The training and skills will be directed towards employment.
