Apollo Run’s odds shorten

NZPA-AAP Melbourne Apollo Run emerged as the biggest shortener for the Caulfield Cup after his narrow win in the sAust3ol,ooo Craiglee Stakes at Flemington on Saturday. The five-year-old chestnut, fourth in last year’s Melbourne Cup, had his Caulfield Cup price slashed from 25-1 to 12-1.

Bookmaker Syd Lyons said Apollo Run was steady on the second line of betting for the Melbourne Cup at 10-1.
