Artist wins top prize

PA Gisborne A Christchurch artist, Mark Lander, has won the top prize of $3OOO in the first Enterprise Cars Group National Arts Award. His work was a combination of clay pigment and handmade flax paper titled, “Orator and Ladder, Stage Set, Working Drawing.” Gary Tricker from Greytown took the second prize of $lOOO with his etching, “The Hobbit,” and Dean Buchanan, of Auckland won the third prize of $5OO with his oil, "Frontroom Afternoon.”
