Kiwi in cycling finals

NZPA London The New Zealand cyclist, Glen McLeay, qualified for the final of the points race at the world championships in Lyons, France on Saturday. McLeay, from Southland, finished second in the tougher of the two heats. He accumulated 14 points over the 50-lap event, finishing behind the Swiss rider, Philippe' Grivel, on 23 points. Twelve riders from each of the two 24man heats qualified for the final.
