Mercy flight for baby
The Westpac rescue helicopter made an early morning mercy flight to Masterton yesterday to pick up a seriously ill three-month-old baby. The baby was picked up about 1 a.m. and flown to Wellington Hospital for immediate neurosurgery. A hospital spokesman said the baby was recovering well.—PA.
