Tasmania beaten
The Canterbury under 21 netball team was a convincing winner, 46-32, against the touring Tasmanian team at Hagley Park last evening. Canterbury assured itself of success in the first three-quarters of the game bounding to a 40-18 lead, but its effort,
dropped away dramatically in the final quarter and it was outscored by Tasmania 14-6. The scores after the first three-quarters were: 13-5, 25-12 and 40-18.
