The person will be expert in network products: VTAM and network support tools such as NETVIEW or NETMASTER, and capable of performing general systems programming as required. DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR A PERSON technically skilled in Database Administration using ADABAS in an MVS/XA/CICS environment is required to fill a challenging position within Trust Bank Computer, Limited. The person will be primarily involved in the maintenance, tuning and support of the databases as one of a small team of Database and Data professionals. Systems programminig experience and ability is also of interest as some work in this area may also be required. REQUIREMENTS • Experience with ADABAS Database systems and NATURAL under MVS/XA/CICS. • Experience with high transaction volume, high availability mainframe databases. • Previous experience with financial or banking applications. • Good communications skills. • 370 assembler would be an advantage. Both sites run systems in the IBM MVS/XA environment resident on Amdahl mainframe hardware. Extensive use is made of ADABAS Database Management Systems, with the NATURAL programming language.
