Situations Vacant Situations Vacant SENIOR LIBRARIAN (SERIALS) LINCOLN COLLEGE APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED from persons with appropriate academic and professional qualifications for the position of Serials Librarian in the Lincoln College Library. The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient management of the Serials Department which includes a public desk for user assistance. There is a support staff of two qualified Library Assistants and two casual staff. As a Head of Department, the Serials Librarian is expected to contribute to over-all library management. The College Library has a stock of over 80,000 volumes. More than 3000 current serial titles are received regularly. The permanent staff of 14 serves a student population of approximately 2000 (including 250 postgraduates), and an academic staff of 200 persons. The Library is currently installing the DYNIX system, and the serials database is soon to be added to the OP AC. The suitably qualified person would be. appointed on the University scale for Senior Librarians, $33,160-$36,056.
