‘Heffalump’ trap
Sir,—l am wondering about your July 21 front-page article on the United Building Society’s new pool. It appears that the pool is acting as a perfect "Heffalump” trap. Maybe, if they removed the railings and put up signs instead (presumably “Heffalumps” cannot read), they might in future really catch a “Heffalump.”— Yours, etc., GRAHAM LEONARD. July 23,1989.
