Crown begins action

PA Wellington The Crown solicitor has started legal proceedings against Sir Robert Jones after his refusal to answer questions from the Securities Commission. Sir Robert said yesterday he had been served with a summons in respect of

charges laid under the Securities Act. It is understood Sir Robert faces two charges — refusing to answer commission questions and refusing to produce documents. Similar charges have been laid against Robt Jones Investments, of which Sir Robert is chairman.
