to spend the household budget. Then came “combo” when, if you were inclined to be tempted, a push from a “friend” would soon get you addicted. Surely the leaders of our country know about the serious social problems relating to addiction? These people need our protection. So, surely casinos are no answer to making New Zealand a better country. We need to take a stand for what is right and good. There is international evidence proving the speed of; , degradation and corruption where casinos are promoted. I do not want this nation to go 3 to the “dogs.” Let us not cheapen our image or attitudes. If we think we can become rich with casinos, someone" out there is blinding us.
