Remand

PA Auckland Milton Windsor Harris, the man alleged to have faked his death by jumping off a Cook Strait ferry, made his seventh appearance in the District Court at Auckland yesterday.

Harris has been in custody awaiting possible extradition to the United States since late May. Judge Imrie remanded Harris in custody until August 9, at the request of defence counsel. He is charged with shop-lifting, escaping from custody and intentional damage.
