Craig Innes, Walter Little, and George Konia played especially well, each being rewarded with tries. Scorers: New Zealand Colts 53 (George Konia 3, Walker Little 2, Va’aiga Tuigamala 2, Matthew Ridge, Andrew Roose, Craig Innes, tries; Matthew Ridge, 5 conversions, penalty goal) beat Horowhenua 20 (Donald Laursen 2, Craig Laurseri, tries; Craig Laursen, conversion, 2 penalty goals).
