Matt’s Scooter wins again
Matt’s Scooter, which lifted his career earnings to SUS2.I2 million by winning the $U5196,000 Driscoll Final at the Meadowlands in 1:50.2 recently, has since continued his winning way in the Maison Export Pacing Series in Canada.
The fourth largest stake-earner in standardbred history behind Nihilator, On The Road Again, and Jate Lobell, Matt’s Scooter notched his eleventh win in 16 starts for the year when winning the $U580,250 second division of the Maison Series at the Greenwood Raceway last week-end.
The Direct Scooter entire paced the mile on the five-eighths (1000 m circuit in 1:53.2 to defeat Runnymede Lobelie by half a length with Indian Alert third.
Matt’s Scooter, the world’s fastest pacer with 'his 1:48.4 time-trial last year, recorded the season’s fastest time in North America this year when he won the Driscoll Final.
