Rates ease in tender
PA Wellington Rates eased slightly in the Reserve Bank’s weekly tender, the results of which were announced yesterday. The bank sold $lOO million of 91-day paper at an average 13.515 per cent, down on the average 13.540 per cent on the SIOOM sold on July 11. Bids for the offering topped S27OM. Tile bank also sold SBOM of 182-day bills at an average 13.613 per cent, slightly down on the 13.636 per cent average of a similar offering last week. Bids totalled $253M.
