Man dies in collision

A Stoke man died yesterday after a collision between his motor-cycle and a truck at a Port Nelson intersection long regarded as dangerous. He was Richard Raymond Rex Lowery, aged 23.
A pillion passenger, Leica Anne James, was in a stable condition in Nelson Hospital’s intensive care unit yesterday with head injuries.
