Ireland to return mokomokai
NZPA-Reuter Dublin Ancient Maori heads owned by Ireland’s National Museum are to be returned to New Zealand, the Irish Prime Minister, Mr Haughey, has announced.
The decision to return the preserved heads, or mokomokai, follows Mr Hughey’s visit to New Zealand last year.
