Man in crash charged
A man, aged 23, has been charged with manslaughter after < a car crash at Tahunanui Beach, Nelson, early yesterday. A woman, aged 16, died and a youth, aged 17, was seriously injured in the crash, which occurred at about 12.30 a.m. Another young woman in the same car was taken to hospital suffering from shock. Their names were not available last evening.
The man will appear in the District Court in Nelson this morning.
