Award for Hanley
The Britain captain, Ellery Hanley, has been awarded the Adidas Golden Boot as the rugby league world’s top player. Hanley, the Wigan, Western Suburbs and Great Britain captain, was presented with the top prize during Friday evening’s Winfield Cup match at Newcastle International Sports Centre.—NZPA-AAP.
