Soap slots shift

From Monday, Television New Zealand’s top rating programme “Sale of the Century” will move to Television One at 7 p.m. On the same day, “Neighbours” will be extended to screen daily at 6.30 in a one-hour format. Due to its continued growth in popularity, “Neighbours” has earned itself an extension of half an hour.

Television New Zealand’s director of programmes, Mr Harold Anderson, confirmed the scheduling change today as a continuing process of enhancing early-even-ing viewing. “Eastenders,” which has not rated well recently in its current slot, will move to Wednesday nights on Two at 10.30 to 11.30.
