Streaker declines offer
NZPA-Reuter London A student who ran naked across a cricket pitch was offered £lOO,OOO ($NZ263,000) on Tuesday to pose for “Penthouse” but promised her parents she would turn the magazine down. Sheila Nicholls, aged 19, raised the biggest cheer of the day when she streaked across the hallowed turf of Lord’s cricket ground on Sunday, watched by English and Australian players, but yesterday she said she bitterly regretted the streak.
