Riccarton base for Stevenson
Warren Stevenson has returned to Canterbury and will be riding from a Riccarton base from now on. He finished his apprenticeship last month ending his time with Garth Ivil after working earlier with Paddy Busuttin and Garth Jackson. Stevenson, whose family lives in Christchurch, rode 35 winners during his apprenticeship and expects to be able to ride at 48kg for most of the season. Earlier this season Stevenson rode Lou Morton in three of his victories and among his other winnners was Harto.
