New snow to enjoy
Canterbury skiers can look forward to a good Queen’s Birthday week-end with 75 centimetres of new snow to enjoy at Mount Hutt. According to the chief executive, Stephen Cohen, this fall came on top of an already excellent base and skiers were assured of a season to remember. "We had thousands of happy skiers last week-end as conditions were superb," Mr Cohen said. Meanwhile, the Mount Hutt Travel Centre is finding that its new ski holiday packages are popular.
