Two riders killed
NZPA-Reuter London Two sidecar motor-cycle competitors were killed yesterday in separate crashes on the treacherous Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT) racing circuit. Organisers said John Mulcahy, aged 37, was killed on a high-speed section of the course at Begarrow. The other man, who was not named, was a passenger in a team which crashed at Greeba. Both died during practice sessions for the TT race. The 60km circuit has claimed about 150 lives since the races began in 1907. Four people were killed during last year's event.
