Yachtsmen named for Admiral’s Cup
PA Auckland Twenty-nine yachtsmen have been handed silver ferns, along with a commission to bring back from Britain in August the Admiral’s Cup, symbol of world ocean racing supremacy. The full team to defend the cup, won two years ago by New Zealand after five earlier attempts, was announced hv the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. The yachtsmen will use three keelboats donated by owners for the R.N.Z.Y.S. coordinated effort. class Librah, owned by Michael Fay and David Richwhite.
