Spying mission
The New Zealand netball coach, Lyn Parker, has returned from a spying mission to Australia. Mrs Parker attended two of the three Australian-West Indies tests to appraise the Windies form before the World Games in West Germany in July. It was only the second time countries in the West Indies area had amalgamated to play as the Windies so Parker was anxious to gauge its standard. “Certainly, they have some very talented players that we haven’t seen before,” she said. “But it was pretty difficult to judge their ability because they haven’t had a lot of match practice together.”— PA.
