Rufer for Miramar
The All Whites soccer star, Wynton Rufer, will sign for Miramar this week, but is unlikely to play for the club this season, Wellington’s "Evening Post" newspaper reports. Rufer, a professional with Grasshopper Zurich in the Swiss league, will sign transfer forms this week with Miramar, his boyhood club, the report said. Rufer is set to leave Grasshoppers at the end of the Swiss season next month, but a permanent move to Miramar is some time off.—PA.
