Mokoia-1 abandoned
PA Wellington New Zealand Oil and Gas reported yesterday that the Mokoia-1 well was being plugged and abandoned. The decision was made after the first drill stem
test resulted ■in only a minor flow of gas to the surface. The test was conducted at 3750 m. Mokoia-1 is 11km southwest of Hawera and 28km south-west of the Kapuni gas/condensate field.
