Waterski challenge
New Zealand and Australian junior barefoot waterskiers will fight for supremacy on the water in an inaugural challenge at the Forest Lakes site at Otaki, near Wellington, on April 28. The team has only North Island skiers with Grant Harrison and Rochelle Pattinson from the Northern Region. Tony Carne and Derek and Mark Roberts are from Manawatu and Bevan Kelly from Paremata complete the line-up. The team was selected by the national, junior coach, Lynn Carne. Mr Carne was assisted by Noel Kelly, a national executive member. The team will also be taking part in the national championships on April 22 and 23.
