Child resuscitated

PA Auckland A couple resuscitated their 16-month-old son who was unconscious when his head was pulled from a water-filled bucket yesterday. The Otara boy is recovering in St Mary’s Hospital.

Sergeant Ivon Pilcher said the toddler had fallen into a large water-filled bucket. He was not breathing when pulled from the bucket. “This really is a freak accident,” he said. “The child is lucky to be alive."
