The river reports provided by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society yesterday were: Waiau, milky, not fishable but clearing; Hurunui, discoloured and marginal; Ashley, clear and fishable; Waimakariri mouth, discoloured, marginal but clearing, gorge, clear and fishable; Selwyn, clear and fishable; Rakaia mouth and gorge, discoloured and not fishable.
