Petrochem currently has a vacancy for an Instrument and Electrical Engineer as a member of its Technical Services Group. The appointee will report to the Senior Instrument and Electrical Engineer and will be responsible for providing professional technical expertise in support of the Ammonia Urea and Gas Treatment Plants operation. The successful applicant will typically have NZCE Electronic or a BSc in electrical engineering or equivalent, and/or several years practical experience in the design, specification, installation and commissioning of instrument and electrical systems. Experience with PLC’s, electronic measurement and distributed control systems will be an advantage.
