The property is situated 70km from Gisborne, and is one of the North Island’s largest, wintering around 50,000 stock units. The Manager would require wide experience in hillcountry management and an ability to organise and motivate a large competent staff, primary schooling is provided on the station and a secondary school bus service is available. The manager's residence is an attractive near new lockwood home, and the salary is fully commensurate with the responsibilities of the position. OPOU STATION Applications are invited for the position of Manager of Opou Station. The property comprises 1000 acres of flat land, that winters 1100 deer and 250 cattle. Around 300 acres are cropped annually. The Manager would require experience with deer, and cattle fattening, also a knowledge of pasture production and cropping is essential. As the property is only 10km from Gisborne on a sealed highway, both Primary and Secondary schooling are available. The salary and residence are attractive and fully commensurate with the position.
