Garden displays

Sir,—l would like to commend the Christchurch City Council gardeners who tend the many roadside gardens and parks and monuments. There is so much colour in the many extremely well-designed gardens, it makes you feel good just seeing them. A lot of good judgment must have gone into the making of them. I am particularly impressed with Moorhouse Avenue. — Yours, etc., BRUCE JOWSEY. February 8, 1989.
