Gondola
Sir, —My attention has been drawn to an article in your edition of Thursday,. December 15, relating to the Port Hills gondola planned for the Mount Cavendish Reserve. The article indicates that the proposal had been approved by the Planning Tribunal in July “after taking 2y 2 years to make a decision.” That is not correct. The Planning Tribunal considered this appeal at a nine-day sitting which commenced on February 8, 1988. The tribunal issued its decision on July 6, 1988. —Yours, etc., J. C.
