Support for Jones
PA Sydney Alan Jones, the former Australian rugby coach charged with committing an indecent act in London, will be back on air in January as a Sydney broadcaster, his radio station boss said. Radio 2UE chief executive, Nigel Milan, issued a statement giving Jones his "unqualified support.” The statement said that 2UE’s programme director, John Brennan, had already left for London to be with Mr “John carried with him the warmth, high regard and support of all at 2UE who know and work with Alan. Mr Milan considers Alan Jones to be a thoroughly decent human being and has nothing but admiration and respect for him.”
