Square plan altered
A car-park, tea kiosk and canopies have been dropped from the redevelopment of Victoria Square. The Christchurch City Council’s parks and recreation department last
evening decided instead to concentrate on providing public toilets — identified as a priority three years ago. Sites for the toilets will be considered in February.
