Last Gloombreaker chance

Today is the last day for mailing entries to the Gloombreaker Awards being run by the Christchurch Public Relations Institute. The institute chairwoman, Ms Sue Rickerby, said there had been a tremendous response so far, with about 50 entries from businesses and individuals in Canterbury. The institute wants to hear about people and organisations who have managed to do well in spite of the present economic gloom and doom in Canterbury. Companies and organisations can nominate themselves, but must post their entry by today. Entries are available from Ms Rickerby, telephone 666-041. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on December 13.
