Jubilee Hospital
Sir, —It is with great regret and disappointment that I hear of the possible closing of Jubilee Hospital and Home. As a member of an entertainment group which performs for hospitals and senior citizen groups, I get to experience many different qualities in these places and, of all of them, Jubilee has been for me the most caring and congenial. The interior of the home has recently been very attractively decorated — they display care and love through the floral arrangements and plants. The staff are very caring and, I know, the patients and residents will be devastated to lose these friends who, particularly in this environment, are a great necessity. Finally, to be taking very elderly people at the closing stages of their lives out of what they believed would be their final home seems to me a tragedy.— Yours, etc., P. A. BONE. October 3, 1988.
