Transplant baby still waiting
Crystal-Lee Emerson, aged one, is still waiting in Brisbane for a lifesaving liver transplant. The president of the Wigram Lions Club, Mr Stuart Barr, said yesterday that Crystal-Lee was on the official-recipient list but was now waiting for a suitable donor.
The Wigram club organised the appeal to send the child and her mother, Mrs Tina Emerson, to Brisbane for the transplant. Mr Barr said CrystalLee’s health had been “up and down.” She had had two viral infections recently.
