Suspension for Cowie

mGreg Cowie, the reinsman of Morrie in the Merivale Menswear Pace, was suspended until after October 17 for careless driving at the Canterbury Park Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington on Wednesday night. Morrie, while racing three back on the inside, moved off the fence with 400 m to run, causing Viewfield Lord to break.

Mighty Honkin (Merivale Menswear Pace) and Mystic Wonder (John Craig Shoes Mobile Pace) were stood down until they trial twice to the satisfaction of the stewards.
