Applications sought for Trust grants
A new series of awards is planned from the Vernon Willey Charitable Trust.
Applicants for financial grants would have to show their activities would be of general public benefit. The recipient’s work could be within either academic or commercial aspects of the sheep and wool industry.
"The importance or tne sheep and wool industry in the framework of the national prosperity of New Zealand is recognised in these awards. Effective use of the grants should encourage progressive leadership,” said the trust officer, Mr Francis Cattermole.
