NZPA London Detectives hunting bank robbers who escaped with more than £250,000 ($687,500) want to watch an episode of the television soap opera, “Neighbours,” for clues. Fans of the Australian series have noticed similarities with an episode screened in July, and police believe the Pres-
ton, Lancashire, raiders may have been inspired by the fictional bank robbery. Superintendent Barrie Walmsley, leading the real-life hunt, said, “We will contact the 8.8. C. and ask it to show us a recording of this episode. "It seems to bear a considerable resemblance to the raid we are investigating. -
